Welcome to Gentle Angels Homecare Services. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website or booking any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website or our services.

2. Services Provided

Gentle Angels Homecare Services offers non-medical in-home support including but not limited to:

  • Personal support worker (PSW) care

  • Companionship

  • Light housekeeping

  • Meal planning and preparation

  • Laundry assistance

  • Medication reminders

  • Wellness monitoring

All services are provided by trained caregivers under professional supervision, with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own homes.

3. Eligibility

Our services are intended for clients located within our service area in Ontario, Canada. You must be of legal age (18+) or have a legal guardian to enter into a care agreement with Gentle Angels Homecare.

Appointment times are subject to availability. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations.

5. Payments and Pricing

Pricing is transparent and outlined on our Pricing Plan page. Standard hourly rate: $30/hour for premium care.

Payments can be made by:

  • Direct bank deposit

  • Credit/debit card

  • Pre-approved third-party billing (if applicable)

Invoices are issued weekly or monthly based on your plan. Late payments may incur a service fee.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Prepaid services can be refunded upon request if unused, minus any applicable fees.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients and/or family members must:

  • Provide a safe and respectful working environment

  • Inform us of any relevant health conditions, allergies, or safety issues

  • Notify us promptly of any changes in condition or care needs

Abuse, harassment, or unsafe conditions may result in suspension or termination of services.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

We value your privacy and follow all applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

Your personal and health-related information will be:

  • Collected only with consent

  • Used strictly for care delivery and service improvement

  • Never shared without written permission, except when required by law

9. Limitation of Liability

While we are committed to providing exceptional care, Gentle Angels Homecare Services shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage to personal property

  • Injuries caused by third-party negligence or accidents beyond our control

  • Outcomes of services requested outside our professional scope

Our liability in any case is limited to the amount paid for the service rendered.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including text, images, branding, and layout) is owned by Gentle Angels Homecare or used with permission. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse content without prior written consent.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the website or services after changes are made implies your acceptance of the updated terms.
